Substance Abuse Education
We have provided a multitude of workshops and substance abuse education seminars over the past 20 years around the Commonwealth of Virginia. We use substance abuse education as a base for treatment, as well as a tool to assist individuals in addressing situations where they find themselves in court or school situations involving inappropriate use of substances. Substance abuse education can be done in group or individual settings depending on the needs of the client. The education covers a wide range of information and is tailored to the needs of the client.
Drug screens are an important component to assessment, treatment, and relapse prevention. Breathalyzers and urine screens are available for multiple substances, to include synthetic marijuana and bath salts.
Court Testimony / Expert Witness
Many therapists avoid anything court involved and insurance companies do not traditionally reimburse individuals who are pursuing evaluations for court situations. At Envision, our therapists are familiar and comfortable with court dynamics and understand that there are times when our clients require support and even testimony for court situations. We are practiced in the courtroom and willing to be engaged to provide testimony when appropriate for services our clients have participated in. In addition, George Young has been qualified as an expert witness on substance abuse and addiction issues and can be contacted for further discussion about his availability regarding your specific case needs.
Envision is a self-pay counseling group and does not accept private insurance. Although Envision is out of network, many of our clients have had success with submitting for out of network benefits with their carriers.
